Story
1972年、アイスランドで行われたチェス世界選手権で、ボビー・フィッシャー（トビー・マグワイア）とボリス・スパスキー（リーヴ・シュレイバー）が対戦する。長きにわたりソ連がタイトルを持ち続けてきたが、史上初のアメリカ人挑戦者が誕生。若き天才の登場に世界中が注目する中、ボビーは第2局に出現することなく不戦敗となり……。

私の大好きな、実在する天才についての映画。
「天才とバカは紙一重」というのは本当によく説明された 言葉だと思います。
ボビーもまたその言葉の通り、普通の人には理解できない行動を取りまくります。
世界が注目する試合の2回戦に、現れなかったんですから。
天才にとって自分の能力を使うのはとても簡単なこと。でも、私達には全く理解できない別の問題と常に戦っているんですよね。
彼らの生活は全てその問題達に取り囲まれているんです。
その問題が彼らを崩壊させてしまうこともあったり。
天才の周りを取り巻く人達がとっても重要になってきます。
ぜひ、そんな部分に注目して見てもらいたいと思います。

this sentence is very well explained.
for genius like him is easy to use their ability but they have problems that normal people like us will never understand.
and for them that's the most important.
not a chess game is the most important.
they are always fighting with those problems.
also often those problems destroy them.
the people around them are so important too.
I would like you to watch these side too.
It was an interesting good movie.
